“ Beauty is a gift,

it needs to be recognized

not attained. Perhaps one can ask

“How can I enhance my beauty?”

In fact I prefer that question.

I link my beauty to both my inner

and external gifts,

most of which I didn’t give myself.

I am sort of blessed with beauty,

if you want to say so.

I can destroy my beauty

by neglecting it

or I can nurture it by

giving it the attention it deserves.

One way to enhance my beauty is to

recognize the beauty of others.
